Our single-acting brake cylinders are available as three different models – 20 / 25 /30-rod sizes. The adjuster screw ensures that when the brake pads wear you can adjust the unit to compensate.

  • CYLINDER BODY: – : 070m20 mild steel, machined from solid bar
  • ROD: – : CK45 (EN8) or 20MnV6 (EN14) pre-chromed bar
  • CLEVIS: – : Forged clevis with pin zinc plated gold passivate
ALL BRAKE CYLINDERS ARE PRESSURE TESTED ON A PURPOSE-BUILT RIG TO A PRESSURE OF 240 BAR (3480 PSI) AND THEN STAMPED WITH PART, JOB, & SERIAL NUMBERS, WEIGHT, MANUFACTURE DATE AND MAX W/PRESSURE FOR FULL IDENTIFICATION.
